I love this picture. Texture of the weight is so cool. This is what makes me feel like summer is here among all the things that are holding it back as the school year comes to crunch time. my old busted window propped open by an old weight letting in a cool breeze with not a bright shining light but but a soft flowing light gently opening up to my room.

Final Project

Mr. Slade im changing my final project to something practical. and although shooting hell could be a good project for a really big project like the senior portfolio like jake's of the houses and the plains. which i really liked. for my final project im going to focus on closing in on my subjects for lots of my photos ive found that i wished i had shot closer up. then you quoted this one photographer that i can't recall that said something along the lines of you can always get closer or once you've shot get closer and shoot it again. im going to shoot everything from a close up prospective.

Assignment #8 get on your belly redo

This is a picture of me in a tree shooting down below me. Shoe has fallen off and i need to find a way down with only one shoe. I like how the shoe on the ground is in focus because that's what im focusing on but i do think its kind of annoying that a big chunk of the picture is out of focus.

i like this picture of the rain gutter. i like the leaves that are loosely lying in the ditch that the water has made trapping anything that gets blown in.

i like this picture of flowers because of the texture of the flowers. you can tell by looking at it that they are soft fuzzy delicate blossoms. the light is also quite good.

i like this shot because its in the far corner of my house and im never really back there. It was one of those moments where you've been somewhere a million times but when you actually stop and look you dont really recognize it because its actually different than you remember.

this is a nice photograph because it shows the age of my yard. my house is so old and the trees are old with roots sprouting everywhere and dirt takes over and the lawn struggles to grow including the weeds.

i like this photo because of the time of day and atmosphere it sets. its late in the afternoon its warm and you've got nothing to do. so you go and find some shade under a nice blossoming tree and think.

i chose this picture not really because of its quality or interest. although it is somewhat interesting its pretty cool. im inside a flower. there's not very much light and the flower cast a strange shadow because light is still let the the red pedals. the bee is stuck in the flower trying to get out but the flower is to narrow to get in flight and to steep to crawl out. what do you do. when your stuck in a flower.

I really like this picture. a lot. its my favorite for this assignment. the sprinkler head feeds all. its old and lime scaley. but it still stands up strong and is working. doing the same thing everyday for the past twenty years. but who knew it was actually there watering the far edge by the rusted fence where no one goes anymore.

Assignment #7 numbers

these are eight slabs of a fence in my back yard. the fence is old and looks hot cause the sun has been beating on it. its old because my house is it and it reminds me of the things that are falling apart in my house like my balcony and the shingles of my roof. but i still love my house. its old warm and inviting. I like this picture a lot because of the contrast of the shadows on the fence. you can tell its a hot summer day but the fence is in the shade.

hey there mr. Slade check all 52 shadow stipes. I like the contrast of this picture. The shadows are rich and dark. When I took this picture, I did not realize I would be counting the shadows but that is more interesting than the rail.

This picture was intersting in color but i like it more in black and white. Last time I checked, there were 86 shadows.

these fifteen flowers are interesting. I really like how on some of the flowers you can see the layering of the pedals. This image really portrays the hero angle. It makes the flowers look big and powerful. This might seem like a cliche image but I like it nonethelesss.

this picture is not cliche. it is four. it is extremely simple. and at first i thought it was a dumb picture and i ignored it. but people said they liked it and i still ignored it. but then i realized i needed to use it. and as i edited it i found that i love it. but only because its so simple and direct.

i like number three a lot. the texture of the glass really makes the photo come alive. not to mention the clear glass gives it style with multiple dimensions.

five furrows and indents of max's brow makes us question what question max may question. not thinking because hes questioning whether or not to ask the question. hes already thought.

twenty three legs. ive found my dining room to be a personally favorite place to shoot. it always has perfect light coming the the giant window at the front of room. there are tons of memories that i have in there with family and friends coming to eat at the giant table. i love the color of the table and chairs and the highlights that the sun leaves on the legs. it leaves the walls looking white but the table is still dark. good light really makes a good photograph

Now for my flowers. i love these pictures so much because of the focus. i had so much light for the next two pictures that i was able to just focus on...focusing. The focus on the photographs is perfect especially for this number two. I literally spent five minutes straight making sure i had perfect focus and it paid off.

this picture is really cool. its number five. but it was a lot cooler in color im not going to lie but i do like it in grayscale nonetheless.

Assignment #6 portraits

This is my self portrait. i hate it. its disgusting and hard to look at i personally feel i did the assignment perfectly for this is part. although the technical side of the photo is crappy. the background is distracting and annoying.

This my little brother. he is interested, but could care less about whats going, once he finds out what he's interested in, that is.

This is my dearest brother Max. He is awesome but looks kinda special here. He likes making faces and this shows what he does every day. max and joey wish they were friends
You simply cannot take max seriously here.

max what in the world are you doing. my word.

what do you think im doing.

max look at yourself. im not related to you.

i really like this picture. i love the mountains in the background and the curious expression of the back of andrews helmet. Looking for the best line takes time and careful consideration of obstacles steepness and gnar shreddage.

assignment #5 get on your belly

Looking up this tree feels like I'm about to be a dead man. Its gloomy and gray and im taking my final breaths. I can do nothing but watch the clouds pass.

The scooter on the other side. behind the trailer as i lie beneath it. a reoccurring theme of danger. Someones looking for me. the scooter helps me hide. it hasn't been used. the tire is flat and undisturbed and that is how i hope to stay.

This picture is really nice showing texture and feeling. Although we're looking at a pile of soggy leaves broken down road and a dirty curb we can still find a calming peace and beauty.

The old piano. Its strings are lose and and limbs are rickety. I hate to play you but your sound is beautiful and your feel is smooth. it calls to me but i resist.

i worry to sit but but it must be played a crick as i sit and a ping is i lay down the first note. it feels tense but it echoes through my ears and i keep playing.

mysterious old house through a window of time. Its calling me through the hole but i cant get through; time, chores, and assignments are holding me back with no escape.

the seedlings of a dead branch waver underneath its limbs. once apart of something so great and old now lies to rot. but there is still hope to start fresh and new.

crippled on the sidewalk exposed to be crushed by an unforgiving merciless being. Already withering i sit and wait to be beaten down, dehydrated, and, life sucked out from my very heart.

a tiny little acorn hat is minding his own business wondering if there really is a hard brown acorn out there unattached. although he sits and dreams he finds it hard to take any action in finding this acorn of his. he has no legs.
